About Me

Hi! I am Pradipto Mondal. I am a Machine Learning Engineer at Adobe working with the ASML (Applied Science & Machine Learning) - India team, based in Bengaluru, India. I graduated from my alma mater Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in May, 2025 with a major in Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering.

My research and academic interests lies in the intersection of deep learning and computer vision. I have had the opportunity to work with some really good researchers in the past. My most recent work experience was at Adobe Research under Balaji Vasan Srinivasan working on personalisable diffusion models. I worked in Vision & AI Lab (IISc, Bengaluru) Bengaluru under Prof. R Venkatesh Babu for quite a while, resulting in a CVPR’24 publication. Previously I have had the chance to contribute to Center of Brain Research (IISc, Bengaluru), and Autonomous Ground Vehicle Research Group (IIT, Kharagpur).

Over the years, I took part in multiple hackathons applying deep learning techniques to solve real world problems winning four consecutive golds in Inter-IIT Tech Meets representing IIT, Kharagpur. The tasks covered topics such as deepfake detection and explainability, modelling and simulating user behavior on twitter, AI in healthcare etc.

Outside of research, I am a big fan of hip hop music, a beginner in boxing and have a decent hand at sketching.
